feeling stuck in patterns you can't quite explain?
Are you exhausted by work but can’t seem to switch off, even at home?
Do you have a difficult manager or workplace that’s affecting your mental health and wellbeing?
Have you hit midlife and find yourself questioning everything - your career, your relationships, your sense of self? Are you in perimenopause or menopause and finding it's affecting your mood, your confidence, or your ability to cope at work?
Do you keep ending up in the same patterns in your relationships and don’t know why?
Do your closest relationships leave you feeling more anxious, confused or depleted than supported?
Are you holding everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling inside?
Do you feel like you should be coping better than you are?
If you find yourself answering yes to any of these - you’re in the right place.
It's time to understand yourself differently.
That's exactly the work I do. I'm Chantal, a senior clinician with my own practice, registered psychologist based in Melbourne specialising in workplace stress, burnout, midlife transitions, and the psychological impact of perimenopause and menopause. I offer telehealth sessions across Australia.
Who I work with
I work with adults who are ready to go beyond surface level coping -people who want real insight, not just strategies to get through the week.
My clients often include:
Professionals dealing with workplace stress, burnout, or difficult working relationships
People experiencing anxiety, overwhelm or difficulty managing their emotions
Women in midlife navigating identity, change, and what comes next - including those going through perimenopause and menopause
People who recognise patterns - in relationships, at work, or in themselves - and want to understand where they come from and why they keep repeating
People who feel like they’ve lost themselves - somewhere between the roles, the responsibilities, and everyone else’s needs
How I work
Every person is different - so I don’t believe one approach fits everyone.
Some people come to me needing practical tools and strategies to get through what’s happening right now. Others need to go deeper - to understand where their patterns came from and why they keep showing up, even when they don’t want them to.
Most people need both. I’ll follow your lead.
What stays consistent is a warm, honest, and genuinely curious therapeutic relationship. I’ll work with you, not at you.
I work in an open-ended way rather than within a fixed-session or diagnosis-driven model — I've found this gives clients the space for real, lasting change rather than being limited by a set number of sessions or a label that doesn't capture the full picture of who they are.
About Chantal
I'm a registered psychologist with over 25 years of experience supporting people through some of the most challenging points in their lives - across employee assistance programs and private practice.
I specialise in workplace stress and burnout, midlife transitions, and helping people understand the deeper patterns that shape their relationships and their sense of self.
I'm also a woman in midlife myself, with a multicultural background and two teenagers at home. I understand the mental load, the complexity of identity, and what it feels like to be pulled in every direction while quietly wondering if there's more.
I bring warmth, genuine curiosity, and a deep belief that understanding yourself better changes everything - at work, in your relationships, and in how you feel about your life.
